Texas Adult Driver Education: Enrollment, Course Time and Certificates

Enrollment is coming soon. Driving Logic, Texas Driver Education Provider C3595, is preparing its online adult driver education course. Please wait until enrollment opens before purchasing.

Who is this course for?

This is adult driver education for applicants age 18 and older. Texas generally requires applicants age 18–24 applying for their first Texas driver license to complete an adult driver education course; applicants 25 and older may take it voluntarily. Check current DPS requirements and any applicable exceptions. Applicants under 18 need teen driver education. This is a different course from driving safety for ticket dismissal. You do not need an existing driver license to begin the adult course.

What is the planned price?

The planned course price is $29.95 plus a $10 certificate processing fee, for a planned total of $39.95 before any applicable tax or optional extras. These are Driving Logic charges, not state fees. Review the full total, enrollment terms and cancellation/refund policy shown at checkout when enrollment opens.

How long does the course take?

The adult course requires six hours overall, including at least five and a half hours of instruction. Complete all required course sections, instructional time, assessments and identity verification required by the course. Pausing and returning later does not reduce required time.

What happens if I need another assessment attempt?

Follow the assessment, remediation and retry instructions provided in the course when enrollment opens. Payment or completing your student information form does not mean you have completed the course or earned a certificate.

What is required before an adult certificate is issued?

Your adult driver education completion certificate requires successful completion of the applicable instruction, assessments, identity verification required by the course and required instructor review. Check your legal name, date of birth and certificate information. We do not promise instant issuance. Follow current DPS application requirements; completing this course alone does not guarantee a driver license.

What else will I need for DPS?

Check the official DPS application instructions for documents, tests and other steps that apply to you. Review the current Impact Texas Drivers requirement before your driving skills test. Driving Logic’s certificate reporting responsibilities are separate from your DPS application.
